Hello! My name is Émilie (a.k.a Miliebuns). Miliebuns is the name my late father gave me when I was little and drew constantly at the kitchen counter in our house. This nickname represents for me inspiration without limits and uninhibited creation.
I live in a little house in Quebec, Canada, with my husband and three children (two big boys and a little girl). I am a primary school teacher, an illustrator and surface pattern designer. I create fun and colourful illustrations using markers, watercolours, pencils, Procreate and Illustrator. I love to create images inspired by nature and wildlife.
I have published illustrations in children’s books and pedagogical manuals (C.F.O.R.P. and Cahiers N.G.). I have also created book covers, logos, web sites, brochures, pamphlets, posters and apparel designs.
